Enchanting Taiwan - Photography Exhibition

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) will be presenting a photography exhibition titled Enchanting Taiwan from October 24 to November 10, 2006 at Guildford Library in Surrey.

Featured at the exhibition are 18 photos that capture Taiwan's scenery and folk culture. They were taken by professional and amateur photographers from Taiwan and have won awards from that country's Government Information Office. Visitors to the exhibit will be treated to amazing images of the country's Ghost Month rituals, its highest peak Jade Mountain, and the unique rock formations of the Penghu Archipelago.

"We hope these photographs will give people a glimpse into the beauty of Taiwan," said Brian Su, director of TECO's press division. For people who have been to Taiwan, the exhibition offers a wonderful chance to revisit the island. For those who have never been, it will be a nice introduction.
