<p>Taiwan Scolarship and Huayu Enrichment Scholarship（HES Application Deadline: 31st March, 2012）: <P>1. TAIWAN SCHOLARSHIP <BR/>The Ministry of Education of Taiwan offers scholarship to students of Denmark and Iceland for the academic year 2012/13. The scholarship is intended to encourage the study of degree programs, which are taught in English or Chinese (undergraduate, Master and PhD programs).<BR/>Scholarship value:<BR/>	Each scholarship will cover the full tuition fees for one academic year <BR/>(The scholarship is only valid for selected universities from theAssociation of Taiwan Scholarship Program Schools, Appendix 1) <BR/>	Flight tickets, and health insurances as well as administration fees, thesis advising fees, insurance premiums, accommodation and Internet access, etc. are not paid additionally<BR/>	Subsistance allowance (Undergraduate studies / NTD 15.000 / about 375 Euros, Postgraduate studies / NTD 20.000 / about 500 Euros)<BR/>Scholarship period and duration: <BR/>From September 1, 2012 through August 31, 2013<BR/>	Maximum duration for bachelor students: 4 years<BR/>	Maximum duration for master students: 2 years<BR/>	Maximum duration for doctoral students: 4 years<BR/>Students who finish the first year of study with success are eligible to reapply at the Taiwanese university in order to receive the scholarship for the following year. <BR/>Requirements for qualification:<BR/>	Denmark or Iceland citizenship (for regulations concerning overseas students please refer to the following website : www.taipei.at)<BR/>	General qualification for university entrance<BR/>	Students who already received a scholarship from the Taiwanese government, or any educational institution in Taiwan, as well as students who are currently studying in Taiwan are not eligible to apply for the same or lower academic degree.<BR/>	Students who are part of a student’s exchange-program in the academic year 2012/13 are not eligible<BR/>	For further details and explanations please refer to the “Introduction to the Taiwan Scholarship Program” <BR/>Application documents:<BR/>	Completed application form (see www.taipei.at/culture/de)<BR/>o A copy of the applicant’s passport or other nationality certificates<BR/>	A photocopy of proof of general qualification for university entrance or proof of study success (Authentication in English)<BR/>	Two letters of recommendation (signed and sealed in envelopes). Photo copies and email submissions of letters of recommendation will not be considered.<BR/>	Study plan written in English or Chinese<BR/>	A photocopy of proof of language proficiency for the language used in the degree program (Chinese or English; for Chinese a copy of results or certificate for the “Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language” is required / informations about TOCFL: http://www.tw.org/tocfl/)<BR/>	Photocopy of a completed application form of the preferred Taiwanese university and copies of admission application materials to universities/colleges in Taiwan (e.g., copies of application fee remittance, application form, receipt of application from universities/colleges, e-mails)<BR/>Place of submission: <BR/>Amaliegade 3, 2nd Fl. 1256 Copenhagen K<BR/>Taipei Representative Office in Denmark<P>2.
