On behalf of the Taipei Representative Office, Bratislava, I am delighted to welcome you to the official website of the Slovakia-based representation of the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

The responsibilities of the Taipei Representative Office, Bratislava include creating greater awareness and goodwill, maintaining good communications between Taiwan and Slovakia, with the aim of enhancing relations and promoting bilateral exchange and co-operation across a range of areas: trade, science, culture and tourism.
*What the TRO can do for you: we are here to help
There is another side to the Taipei Representative Office's function, a more personal side. Regardless of whether you are a Taiwanese national or an old established friend or only beginning to find out about Taiwan, this office is here to assist and to support you. We aim to serve as a first port of call: we can provide you with essential information, practical advice and facilitate the development of useful contacts and new linkages. Whether it be to encourage and promote wider concerns, or to offer advice and assistance in personal circumstances, we will always be more than happy to assist. I personally assure you that our door is always open and no issue too small.
*A Portal to Better Understanding Taiwan:
I believe that this website can act as a portal to better understanding Taiwan. Naturally, you can access other Taiwan Government websites through our links to look for any additional information you may require. However, you may also use it to keep track of evens promoting bilateral exchanges. Through the news, pictures and press release sections, you will be able to see a sample of events that the Taipei Representative Office has been involved in and can see how you too can get involved.
