Economic Division

Established in 1974, the Economic Division of Taipei Representative Office in the United Kingdom (EDTROUK) aims to promote bilateral trade, investment and technology cooperation between Taiwan and UK.

In terms of trade promotion, the EDTROUK aims at assisting Taiwan companies to sell their services and products to the UK market. In terms of investment promotion, the EDTROUK assists potential and existing British investors in Taiwan. Working in close co-operation with The Department of Investment Services (DOIS, formerly known as the Indusrial Development and Investment Center, http://investintaiwan.nat.gov.tw/en/about ), the EDTROUK offers a free, practical and confidential service covering all aspects of locating in Taiwan.
