Call for Entries : The 1st Austronesian Fine Arts Award - NTD$200 , 000 First Prize!

The lst Austronesian Fine Arts Award is held by Taitung Country Government in Taiwan, and the theme of the award this year is “Dancing with Nature.” Participants are expected to present Austronesian spirit “harmony with nature” through the creation of artworks which could arouse the audience to reflect the relationship between human beings and nature. All domestic and foreign artists are welcome to participate in this competition.

Category and Regulation :

Submission Deadline for Preliminary Selection: From September lst to 23rd, 2011.
Medium : oil and/or acrylic on canvas ( The use of mixed media is allowed
Restriction: only one piece is allowed to submit for each participant, and the art piece should be made within the past three years. Please don’t submit works which had ever won any arts award.
Exhibition and award ceremony : The awarding works will be displayed in Taitung Art Museum in December, 20ll .
