VISITOR VISA FOR VISITING PURPOSE
Requirements	Description
1. Visa Application Form	Complete the application form under "General Visa Applications" at https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw/BOCA_EVISA/ and submit it online, then print out the completed form and sign the hardcopy. (Please make sure you have selected “Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Brisbane” on the online form as the office to lodge your application.)
2. Two Photos	Australian Passport-sized photos in colour taken within 6 months. Photo background should be white
3. Passport (Original & 1 photocopy)	Passport must be valid for more than 6 months with blank pages
4. If you are not Australian: Your current valid substantive Australian Visa Grant Notice	Please print out your visa grant notice.
4. Evidence of funds	Please print out your own Bank Statement (issued within recent 2 weeks)
5. Travel/Flight Itinerary/Schedule	Please print out your flight reservation issued from Travel Agency or Airline company -- must show round trip or on-going flight details.
6. Student ID/Proof letter of Employment
7. Invitation letter with host's contact details
8. Underage applicants must provide: birth certificate, parents' approval letter (click here to download template) & both parents' valid photo ID
9. Additional documents may be requested during processing
Procedures：
Applicants can lodge their applications with the necessary documents and statutory fee at our overseas offices. Interview may be required when necessary. Flow Chart of Visitor Visa Application
Notices：
Visas are issued as stipulated by Article 12 of the Statute Governing Issuance of ROC Visas for Foreign passports. As a sovereign nation, the ROC has the right to refuse applications for visas without providing any explanation for such a decision; visa application fee is not refundable.

Single Entry application	AUD$72
Multiple Entry application	AUD$144 (*Conditions apply)
Reciprocal processing fee:	AUD$265 (for American passport holders)
*Multiple entry application only accepted for business travellers or when actual multiple entries are shown on flight itinerary. Business letter and transaction history MUST be provided.
Processing Time:
10 Business Days in general (Please note that processing time is general guidance only. As visa applications are approved on case by case basis, sometimes it may take longer depending on the complexity of each cases. Applicants are advised to put in applications as soon as possible.)
