Taiwan’s Yang Ming Cultural Foundation is calling for entries for its 6th International Adolescents Painting Competition. This competition was organized to encourage adolescents to use art to discover the beauty of the sea, rivers, fishing villages, lakes and wetlands, as well as to understand the crisis of global warming. It is also hoped that the competition can promote international art and cultural exchanges.
Important details for the program are as follows:
1. Themes: The beauty of the sea
(1)A portrayal of the scenery of hometown seas, coasts, rivers, lakes, ports, fishing villages, bridges etc.
(2)A portrayal of the scenery of the future of the sea world, global warming in the world.
2. Qualification of participants:
The competition is open to all adolescents throughout the world, age 4 to 15 years.
3. Entry rules:
(1) Genre: crayons, color pencils, oil painting, watercolors, wood cut painting, collage, etc.
(2) Size: within 39cm x 54cm (Mounting or framing is unnecessary)
(3) Number: one entry each participant
(4) Type: hard copy only
4. Deadline and delivery place for entries
(1) Deadline: Between October 1 to 12, 2016.
