The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Toronto is delighted to announce that the “2017 Mosaic Taiwan Fellowship Program” is open for application as from today to February 17th, 2017, for Canadians aged from 20 to 35 from Ontario, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
MOSAIC Taiwan is a fellowship exchange program for emerging Canadian leaders to explore Taiwan and gain better understanding of Taiwan’s culture and society through extensive exchanges with local leaders from various fields.
This year’s program is scheduled from 28th of May to the 10th of June. All the expenses including the round trip air ticket and local accommodation and transportation in Taiwan will be borne by the sponsoring authority.
Young professional, graduate-school students or students with university degrees from universities in the above mentioned provinces in Canada are eligible to apply from this office . MOSAIC Taiwan 2017 Fellows will take part in team-building and leadership-development exercises as well as workshops and lectures on topics involving Taiwan. There will also be visits to businesses and museums in various cities, as well as indigenous reserves and sites of outstanding natural beauty around the island. Participants will meet with government officials and young leaders in Taiwan to discuss issues of common concern, with a focus on fostering cross-cultural connections and friendships. Round-trip tickets, food, and lodging are all covered by sponsors .
