Apply for Taiwan Scholarship / Huayu Enrichment Scholarship - Fall Semester 2024
To promote knowledge, understanding, and friendship between Taiwan and Israel and to encourage outstanding international students to undertake degree programs in Taiwan, the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) offers two kinds of scholarships for the next academic year:
| Scholarship | Benefits / Guidelines |
| Taiwan Scholarship Program (Master's Degree,2 Years/Ph.D., 4 years) | (1) The MOE awards each recipient tuition of up to 40,000 NTD per semester (approx. 1,285 US$). If the total amount of tuition should exceed 40,000 NTD, the remainder of all costs shall be covered by the recipient or the recipient’s university. Tuition and academic fees do not include any of the following: administration fees, thesis-advising fees, insurance premiums, accommodation, and Internet access, all of which are payable by the recipients.(2) The MOE offers each recipient undertaking graduate studies a monthly stipend of 20,000 NTD (approx. 642 US$).* Applicants should apply directly for admission within the deadlines specified by universities/colleges.*Scholarship recipient is responsible for tuition and all living expenses.

| Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (3 months - 1 Year) | The MOE awards each recipient a monthly stipend of 25,000 NTD - (approx. 803 US$).* Scholarship recipient is responsible for tuition and all living expenses. More information please see Huayu Enrichment Scholarship Guidelines 2024 |
Application/Selection Procedure in 2024:
- Submit Application: From February 1 to March 31
- Interview: April (Only the selected candidates will be invited)
- Announcement of grantees: May
Application Documents:
- One copy of the completed application form (Please fill out the correct form for your desired scholarship).
- One photocopy of your most recent school (university) grade transcript (all certificates must be in English).
- One passport copy.
- Signed "Terms of Agreement" form.
- A copy of the applications to the Mandarin Language Center.
- Please send the completed application form with all required documents to:
