首先要恭喜您已獲錄取參加僑務委員會辦理之海外華裔青年語文研習班
第五期，我們竭誠歡迎您，也預祝您在台灣有一個多采多姿及充實愉快
的假期。
Dear All,
Congratulations! All of you are admitted into the Language Study Program for
Chinese Youth sponsored by OCAC. We welcome you and wishing you have a
wonderful and fulfilling holidays in Taiwan.
以下事項請務必注意：

三、到校安排 How to go to school
(一) 團體報到 Registration for Groups
十人以上團體入境(同一班機)向僑委會申請專車接送核可，提供免費接駁
Groups of 10 students or above arriving with the same flight are entitled to free
complimentary group pick-up upon application to the OCAC.
(二) 個人報到 By Self-Transportation：
台灣桃園國際機場→加拿大哥倫比亞中學台灣分校

搭乘計程車，費用約800元
By taxi, price about NTD800
台灣高鐵桃園站→加拿大哥倫比亞中學台灣分校
Taiwan High Speed Tao Yuan Station→CICT

親友自行送至加拿大哥倫比亞中學台灣分校者，請於報到時間內抵達報到處。
報到後以團體活動為主，請勿自行離團活動。
Please stay with the group once registered and do not move around alone.
(三) 延遲報到 Registration Delay：
如因故須延期報到，須事先經報名單位函送僑務委員會同意，並以3天為限，
逾期不予受理
Applicants who cannot register on time for reasons must notify OCAC via the local
representative office or cultural center beforehand. Maximum postponement of
registration last 3 days. If being overdue, your registration will not be accept.
四、攜帶物品 You should bring the following items with you：
(一) 護照 Passport
(二) 團費 (新台幣 22,500元整) Program fee (NTD22,500)
(三) 保證金(新台幣 3,000元整) NTD3,000 deposit (refundable upon departure
when no damages in the dormitory found)
(四) 個人零用金 Money for personal expenses
(五) 外出/外宿同意書 Parental consent form for leaving the camp during free time
(六) 個人盥洗用具 Personal toiletry items
(七) 個人換洗衣物、運動服裝及球鞋 Clothing, sportswear and sporting shoes
(八) 個人雨具 Rain gear
(九) 個人藥品或其他個人需用物品，如：手機與相機充電器/旅行轉換插頭/
電源轉換成 110V 變壓器/吹風機等
Personal medicine and other items, such as charger for cellular phone or digital
camera, plug exchanger for travelers, voltage adapter (adapt to 110V), or hair
dryer...etc.
五、其他注意事項 Other Matters for Attention：
(一) 所有持外國護照之學員都必須持有足夠天數之中華民國簽證（免簽者除外），
若學生以30天免簽證入境或辦理落地簽證，都將導致學員必須於活動期間
離境再入境
Students with foreign passports should hold ROC Visas with valid period covering the
duration of the entire program. Students with 30-day Visa-Exempt Entry or Landing
Visas will need to exit then re-enter Taiwan during the program. Therefore, we
strongly recommend all students entering Taiwan with foreign passports to apply for
ROC Visitor Visas.
(二) 幣制：使用新台幣，約33元新台幣兌換1美元(依實際匯率為準)，建議於僑居
地或桃園國際機場兌換活動期間所需新台幣。另外，不建議攜帶旅行支票，因
需7個工作天的銀行交換匯兌流程，較不方便。
The currency used in Taiwan is NTD; the exchange rate to USD is around33NTD:1USD.
We suggest you to exchange to NTD for all expenses during the program in your
country of residency or in Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport upon arrival.
Furthermore, it is not recommended that you bring traveler’s checks, because it takes
7 working days to process. And that will cause your inexpedience.
(三) 本校已為學員投保新台幣400萬元之意外險及新台幣40萬元之意外醫療險，
依據中華民國法律 15 歲以下學員僅提供新台幣 200 萬元支意外險及新台幣
20萬元支意外醫療險，敬請學員於出發前於僑居地辦妥個人海外疾病醫療保
險及旅行相關保險(須包含人身意外、醫療費用、住院現金津貼、緊急拯救及
遣返、遺失行李及私人財務、行李延誤、遺失現金或證件、個人法律責任、旅
程延誤、取消旅程、提早結束旅程等項目)。活動期間若宿疾復發或突發併發
症，送醫所需醫療及返回僑居地等相關費用，應由學員或家長自行負擔，學員
及家長不得向僑務委員會或本校提出任何要求。
The College has covered all students with NTD4,000,000 of Accident Insurance
and NTD400,000 of Accident Medical Insurance. (According to ROC Law, students
under 15 can only be provided with NTD 2,000,000 of Accident Insurance and
NTD 200,000 of Accident Medical Insurance.) We suggest you to arrange another
medical, travel and other relevant coverage before leaving for Taiwan. If students
require immediate transfer or back to place of residency for any sickness or
complication arise during the program, it is the responsibility of the student and his/
her parents to cover the cost; the OCAC or the College will not be responsible for it.
(四) 台灣電話系統為 GSM900/1800 及 CDMA 系統，學員可選擇原號碼國際漫遊
(需於僑居地辦妥相關手續且費用較高)，或攜帶筆電、手機，本校有提供無線網
路，學員可以通訊軟體與家長聯繫。
The telecommunication system used in Taiwan is GSM900/1800 and CDMA.
Students can use international roaming with their existing number. However,
it needs to be arranged in advance before arrival, and the cost is usually high.
Carrying laptop or smart phone is also feasible. The school furnish wify, students
can communicate with parents by using skype.
(五) 台灣電力系統使用電壓為 110V.頻率 60Hz，非通用可自動調正電壓之電子
用品請勿攜帶，或應使用變壓器。
The power system used in Taiwan is 110V,60Hz. Please do not bring electronic
devices that cannot automatically adjust to 110V, or a voltage adapter has to be used.
(六) 台灣冬季溫度約 5～15℃ (41～59℉)，建議攜帶雨具及保暖用品。
The temperature in Taiwan during winter is around5～15℃ (41～59℉).
Students should bring their rain gear and warm clothing gear in case of raining or
cold weather.
(七) 膳食以中式自助餐及桌餐為主，以體驗台灣膳食特色。學員若有素食者或
特殊飲食狀況須注意者，請及早告知以便處理。
Meals are mostly in Chinese-style; if students require special meal arrangement,
please inform in advance.
(八) 學員抵台時若因故在機場無法入境或遇班機延遲請務必立即連絡活動承辦人。
If students are experiencing flight delay or cannot pass through Immigration at the
airport please contact us immediately.
(九) 學員若於活動報到前提早抵達台灣或於活動結束後須延後離開台灣，一天住
宿費用新台幣1000元(不含餐食)，相關費用需自行負責。
Any costs associated with early arrival or late departure should be covered by the
students himself/herself .CICT can offer housing no meals . NTD 1000 per day.
(十) 活動期間學員必須遵守本活動辦理單位之各項管理規定，如有重大違規情事，
本校及僑務委員會得依規定予以退訓。
Duration of the program, students must follow all the guidelines and rules.
The College and the OCAC have the rights to dismiss students from the program
for serious violations.
(十一) 學員貴重物品請自行妥善保管，如有遺失恕不負責。
Please take care of valuable items; no responsibility will be held for loss or damage.
(十二) 其他未盡事宜，敬請自行考量。
Please consider cautiously for any matters not listed in this guideline.

學員外出/週末外宿同意書
Parental Consent Form
一、學員請假外出外宿我們皆會與在台聯絡人聯絡確認，完成請假流程才准予請假。
All students needed to be confirmed with our associates in Taiwan while they ask for
a night out. The procedure of requesting a leave will be effected after confirmation.
二、請確實填妥同意書在台聯絡人資訊。
Kindly be sure that the confirmation sheet including associate info is completed.
三、若無在台聯絡人且您的孩子是未成年，您簽署同意書即代表可讓孩子自行申請
外出外宿，所發生一切行為由家長及學員自行負責。
If you have no associate in Taiwan and your children is minor, the confirmation sheet is
representing your children is allow to apply a night out. All consequence is responsible
by parents and students.
