Representative Ko and Madame Ko attended the 7th Latvian Chinese Martial Arts Tournament

Invited by Mr. Anatoly Kisseliov, Chairman of the Latvian Chinese Martial Arts Association, the head of the Taipei Mission, Ambassador Ko and and Madame Ko attended 7th Latvian Chinese Martial Arts Tournament on 16th November. Ambassador presented a tradition Chinese painting of tiger. Mr. Kisseliov returned a Token of Appreciation to Ambassador Ko. Ambassador Ko mentioned that he was very happy to know that a lot of Latvian people appreciate and enjoy the fun of the Chinese martial arts. The Chinese martial arts is one of the legacy of Chinese culture. The spirits of Chinese martial arts are to live a healthier life and help the weak. During this tournament, there are eight Latvian martial arts schools and over one hundred competitors participated in this tournament. There are several main categories consisting of spears, swords and Taichi in this tournament.
