漢學研究中心簡介
漢學研究中心成立於民國70 年，隸屬於教育部，為國家圖書館兼辦
的學術機構，成立初期名稱為「漢學研究資料及服務中心」，自民國
76 年更為今名。漢學研究中心（以下稱本中心）以聯繫漢學研究網
絡，充實漢學研究資源及推動海內外漢學研究為宗旨。本中心設有指
導委員會，由教育部部長聘任，研訂各項研究與發展方針。本中心主
任亦由教育部部長聘任，例由國家圖書館館長兼任，下設有副主任和
資料服務組與學術交流組，推展與執行各項業務。

服務項目
提供漢學研究資源服務
蒐集、整理海內外漢學研究論著，包括西文博士論文、海外佚籍複製
品、敦煌經卷微捲，以及國際與大陸地區出版之漢學書刊資料，並引
進國際與大陸重要學術資料庫。在國家圖書館6 樓設置「漢學研究中
心資料室」和「利瑪竇太平洋研究室」，提供各種資料流通和諮詢服
務。
建置「漢學研究中心資訊網」（http://ccs.ncl.edu.tw），除呈現本中心各
項業務外，並開發專題資料庫，如漢學中心出版品全文資料庫，經學、
兩漢諸子、魏晉玄學、敦煌學論著目錄及明人文集聯合目錄等資料庫。
出版漢學論著
定期編印《漢學研究》（季刊）與《漢學研究通訊》（季刊）。前者係
以中國文史哲研究為主體之國際性學術期刊，供國內外學者發表中英
文論著與書評，學術評價很高，在科技部歷次期刊評比皆名列前茅，
且為人文學引文索引核心期刊（THCI Core）。
《漢學研究通訊》旨在報導國內外漢學研究動態，包括研究成果綜
述、國際漢學、漢學人物、學術會議、漢學機構等；在國內外設有通
訊員，定期提供各研究機構、大學系所之訊息。上述二刊物皆同時發
行紙本與電子版。
自民國 95 年起發行《漢學研究通訊電子報》，按月免費以電子郵件寄
送訂閱者，強化學界消息之即時性功能。
此外，不定期出版漢學相關書目、索引等工具書及論著類叢刊。
獎助外籍學人來臺研究
本中心自民國 78 年起，實施「外籍學人來臺研究漢學獎助」，每年提
供研究補助費與來回機票，獎助海外大學相關系所之教授、副教授、
助理教授、博士候選人，以及研究機構之研究人員，來臺研究漢學；
研究期間以三個月至一年為限。期滿須繳交研究報告。本中心為獎助
學人舉辦學術討論會「寰宇漢學講座」及文化參觀活動。迄今已獎助
過40 多個國家400 餘位學者，民國100 年起為歷年獎助過的學人成
立「世界漢學學友會」，以加強聯繫。
由於績效良好，本中心自民國 99 年9 月起受外交部委託辦理「臺灣
獎助金」（Taiwan Fellowship）行政業務與接待事宜。
辦理各項學術活動
為增加國內外學人研究之交流，並提昇國內研究風氣，兼藉會議共謀
資料之蒐集與利用，本中心經常聯合各學術機構主辦國際性研討會，
例如「全球視野下的漢學新藍海」、「圖書、知識建構與文化傳播」等
國際學術研討會。本中心積極參與國際組織如美國亞洲學會（AAS）、
歐洲漢學學會（EACS）等，並於其年會中舉辦書展，藉以推廣臺灣
漢學研究與出版成果。

外籍學人來臺研究漢學獎助實施要點
一、漢學研究中心（以下簡稱本中心）為實施「外籍學人來臺研究漢
學獎助」特訂定本要點。
二、本要點獎助研究之對象為國外大學之外籍教授、副教授、助理教
授（含博士後研究）、博士候選人，以及學術機構之研究人員。
其來臺研究內容以漢學及臺灣研究之主題為主。
三、獎助事項包括：研究費用、提供資料服務、聯絡大學及研究機構、
利用本中心設備等項。
四、獎助研究之期限：3 個月至1 年。
五、申請人應在每年5 月31 日前向本中心提出次年1 至12 月之研究
申請。經審查後，於同年8 月底前將結果通知申請人。申請時應
檢附下列文件：
- 申請表
- 簡歷表（包括著作目錄）
- 研究計畫
- 推薦信一封以上
六、獲得獎助學人享有本中心提供之旅費及研究補助費。惟旅費補助
之對象為在國外之外籍學人，現已在臺從事研究者，不予補助。
七、經費補助標準如下：
- 旅費：提供獲得獎助學人由居住地至臺北間直飛來回機票（經
濟艙）乙張，該費用於抵臺繳交機票票根及購票收據後發給。
- 研究補助費：於每月月初發放。計分教授、副教授、助理教
授（含博士後研究）、博士候選人四級。學術機構研究人員比
照支給，其金額由本中心訂定，若有調整時經本中心指導委
員會通過後宣佈。
八、獲得獎助學人必須與本中心簽訂合約並遵守下列規定：
- 非經本中心同意不得兼任他職，亦不得接受我國其他單位補
助。
- 參加本中心安排之各項學術研究活動。
- 利用本中心及國家圖書館設備時，依相關規定辦理。
- 研究期滿前，應提出研究報告或論文。
九、獲得獎助學人如未遵守本要點第八點各款之規定，本中心得停止
發給其研究補助費。
十、獲得獎助學人於研究期滿後三年始得再提出申請。
十一、本要點如有未盡事宜，得由指導委員會授權本中心處理。
十二、本要點報經教育部核定後實施，修正時須經本中心指導委員會
審議通過後實施，並報教育部備查。
Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies
- The Center for Chinese Studies (CCS) has the following provisions
for its research grant program.
- This program is aim at foreign professors, associate professors,
assistant professors (including post-doctoral researchers) and doctoral
candidates in departments related to Chinese studies at foreign
universities, as well as researchers at related foreign academic
institutes.
The research should be undertaken in Taiwan, and be focused mainly
on Taiwan or Chinese studies.
- CCS provides assistance with research expenses, research materials,
liaison with universities and research institutions, and use of CCS
facilities, etc.
- Research tenure is three months to one year.
- Applications should be submitted to the CCS by May 31 of each year
before the year in which grants are intended to be used; notification of
CCS’s decision will be given by the end of August of the same year
after a careful review.
Applications should include the following documents:
1) Application form
2) Curriculum Vitae (including a list of publications)
3) Research plan
4) Letter(s) of recommendation
- Grantees are entitled to travel subsidies and research subsidies.
Eligibility for travel subsidies is restricted to foreign scholars who
currently reside abroad; those already in Taiwan are not eligible.
- Subsidies available under the Research Grant Program are as follows:
1) Travel subsidies: One direct round trip economy class air ticket
from the domicile of the grantee to Taipei will be provided by
CCS. Travel expenses will be reimbursed upon the grantee’s
arrival in Taiwan on the basis of the ticket stub and receipt.
2) Research subsidies: To be paid at the beginning of each month and
divided into four levels: professor (including post-doctoral
researcher), associate professor, assistant professor, and doctoral
candidate.
Researchers at academic/research institutes will also receive
grants according to the above scale. The actual amount of research
subsidies is determined by CCS and any adjustments to those
amounts will be decided upon by the CCS Advisory Committee.
- Grantees must sign a contract with CCS and observe the following
regulations:
1) No outside employment is allowed without the prior approval of
CCS. Concurrent acceptance of a grant from any other
organization in the R.O.C. is not permitted.
2) Participation in all scholarly research activities arranged by CCS
is required.
3) All regulations must be observed when using CCS and National
Central Library facilities.
4) A research report or paper must be submitted to CCS by the end
of a grantee’s research tenure.
- Grantees who fail to observe Article 8 will have their research
subsidies terminated by CCS.
- Scholars who receive a grant under the Program must wait a
minimum of three years after completion of their research projects
before applying again.
- Any additions to the above provisions will be handled by CCS as
authorized by the CCS Advisory Committee.
12.These provisions have been approved by the Ministry of Education.
Any revisions hereto must be approved by the CCS Advisory
Committee and reported to the Ministry before going into effect
