On April 23, 2024, at the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) headquarters, Tan Sri Dato’ Soh Thian Lai, President of FMM, and Dr. Chang Pao-Cheng, President of the China Productivity Center (CPC) in Taiwan, signed an MOU to foster smart manufacturing cooperation.
FMM, founded in 1968, holds the distinction of being Malaysia's largest manufacturing association.
Through this MOU, FMM aims to tap into Taiwan's expertise in smart manufacturing, actively support member manufacturers in adopting smart technologies, and bolster industrial competitiveness.
Established in 1955, CPC stands as Taiwan's foremost business management consulting organization with nearly 70-year experiences on coaching industrial upgrading.
In the future, FMM and CPC plan to collaborate on seminars, benchmarking studies, and consultant deployments to aid Malaysian SMEs in their smart manufacturing endeavors.
