Representative Francis Kuo-Hsin Liang Attends United Chinese Library’s Arts and Calligraphy Exhibition and Its Memorial Service to Commemorate 92nd Anniversary of the Death of Dr. Sun Yat-sen

Representative Francis Kuo-Hsin Liang, Deputy Representative Steven Tai and other officials from the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore attended the United Chinese Library’s Arts & Calligraphy Exhibition on 11 March 2017, and its memorial service to commemorate the 92nd anniversary of the death of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, founding father of the Republic of China(Taiwan), on the following day.
Representative Liang graced the United Chinese Library’s Arts & Calligraphy Exhibition as its guest of honor. The Exhibition, held over four days, showcased the works of 33 artists from various countries. Over 70 persons, including the advisers and commissioners from the Overseas Community Affairs Council, office bearers of the Alumni of Taiwan Universities and Colleges, and other officials from the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore were at the exhibition. During his address at the event, Representative Liang hailed the United Chinese Library as an important Chinese cultural center and a memorial center to remember Dr. Sun.
The memorial service to commemorate the 92nd anniversary of the death the death of Dr. Sun Yat-sen was held on the evening of 12 March 2017. The service commenced with Representative Liang presenting a pot of orchids and followed with the singing of the “Prime Minister Memorial Song” and other club songs.
