Taiwan donates 260 tons of rice to Swaziland for drought relief.

On the 19th of November, Taiwan presented Swaziland's National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) with 260 tons of rice.
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Ambassador Thomas J.C. Chen handed the donation over to Deputy Prime Minister Paul Dlamini at the Disaster Management Warehouse in Matsapha.
The rice comes in 8,667 bags and will be distributed to 52,000 people in 10,400 households.
During the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Dlamini said his office had also received 350 parcels of mealie meal from the Embassy. He said the food would also be distributed to the needy families along with the rice.
