The 29-member 2017 African Economic and Trade Mission, organized by Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association, visited the Kingdom of Swaziland on the 19th and 20th of June this year.

Their itinerary includes visits to Swaziland Investment Promotion Authority and the Biotechnology Park (of Royal Science and Technology Park) which was constructed with the assistance of the Republic of China on Taiwan, as well as co-hosting a seminar of “Trade and Investment Opportunities in Swaziland” with the Federation of Swaziland Employers and Chamber of Commerce (FSE&CC). The President of FSE&CC, Andrew Le Roux, and the Chairman of Taiwan Africa Business Association, Jeff Sun, signed a Memorandum of Understanding during the seminar, which will help enhance bilateral cooperation one trade and investment.
The mission was co-led by Por-Fong Lin, chairman of Taiwan Glass Ind. Corp. and Jeff Sun, concurrently president of Green Master Int'l Freight Services, Ltd. Its members consist mainly of 6 glass companies and 2 construction companies among others. As most of them are either chairpersons or senior executives in their companies, their visit has been well received and valued by both the public and private sectors of Swaziland.
