I. Academic Qualifications(1of 2 below):
1. Professional specialties in Digital Archives,Information Behavior, Digital Application in Archives, Digital Content, or closely
related fields, with outstanding performance or great potential.
2. Applicants qualified to teach the following courses in English are preferred:
Core courses: Information Behavior & User Study, Information Services, Digital Humanities, Archival Management & Applications
II. Teacher Qualification Required (1of 2 below):
1. Dealing with Teacher Qualification in accordance with "Accreditation Regulations Governing
Teacher Qualifications at Institutions of Higher Education" by Ministry of Education.
2. If having Teacher Qualification already, applicants should submit documents (1of 2 below):
(1) Ministry of Science and Technology research projectsor published papers (with publication evaluation comments)in last five years
(2) One published book with publication evaluation & publishing certificate
III. Number of open position: 1
IV. Applicants should submit:
1. Curriculum Vitae (including the name and years of schooling of
Bachelors degree or higher in any discipline)
2. A copy of Ph.D. diploma. (Foreign academic certificates must be verified by R.O.C. (Taiwan) overseas offices)
3. A copy of official transcripts from doctoral studies or teacher’s certificate
(Foreign transcripts must be verified by R.O.C. (Taiwan) overseas offices)
4. Quadruplicate of doctoral dissertation and representative publications, including monographs, journal articles and academic conference papers
5. Publication List
6. Teaching plans consist of course names, descriptions, syllabus (textbooks and references)
7. Two Recommendation Letters
IV. After going through the first trial stage, candidates will be invited to interview and to deliver an
academic speech (at candidates’ own expense).
