Yu-Hsiang Huang (黃裕翔) is a talented, young pianist and actor from Taiwan. Despite being visually impaired, he has achieved immense success as a musician, capturing even international attention. He most recently starred as himself in the critically acclaimed Taiwanese film Touch of the Light, which was based on his own personal life experiences. His role in the movie led him to win the Outstanding Taiwanese Filmmaker of the Year prize at the 49th Golden Horse Awards. In 2015, Yu-Hsiang released his debut piano album "Be all Ears". This year, he was awarded the title of Best Instrumental Composer for his track “The Journey” at Taiwan's 27th Golden Melody Awards.
Yu-Hsiang is currently on an international music tour, having made stops in countries including China (Guangzhou, Shanghai) and Japan. Next Friday night (October 28th), he will be performing LIVE in London - the final destination of his tour. Featured in the performance will be many songs from his album and short videos documenting his life. The concert will be hosted at "IKLECTIK" (20 Carlisle Lane, SE1 7LG) near Waterloo Station. It is a public event with FREE ENTRY, and everyone is welcome to join! Warm, touching and soothing to the ear, Yu-Hsiang's music is not to be missed.
