Former US Vice President Dick Cheney to attend Taiwan’s Ketagalan Forum

Dick Cheney, former US Vice President, will attend the ‘2017 Ketagalan Forum: Asia-Pacific Security Dialogue’ in Taipei in early August, where he will deliver a key speech.
Hosted by Taiwan’s Prospect Foundation, an independent research institution dedicated to the study of foreign policy and international affairs, the forum will discuss changes in the Asia-Pacific geopolitical landscape, Asian maritime security cooperation, regional economic integration, Taiwan's New Southbound Policy, regional challenges, and cooperation opportunities.
The event will be attended by President Tsai Ing-wen, Minister of Foreign Affairs David Tawei Lee, and former Minister of Foreign Affairs and current Chairman of the Prospect Foundation, Chen Tang-shan.
