The pair exchanged views on Scotland’s extensive development of offshore wind farms and the promotion of the Taiwan-UK Youth Mobility Scheme which Mr Dornan was keen to advance in his capacity as Convener of the Education and Skills Committee.
Representative Lin later met with the University of Strathclyde’s Associate Principal Professor Tim Bedford, where they discussed collaboration opportunities in offshore wind energy. The Representative also met with the University of Strathclyde’s Director of Sustainable Cities & Energy Policy Mr Richard Bellingham and Professor of Systems and Control Professor Bill Leithead as well as Brian Cross, a project manager at the Energy Technology Partnership (ETP), an alliance of Scottish Universities engaged in energy research.
