Wooonta Trio presents 《Sounds of Taiwan》
Three expert musicians from France, Japan and Taiwan blend the sounds of three of the world’s most distinctive string instruments: erhu, sitar and cello. Those who embark upon this unique musical journey will sample the enticing aural flavours of several cultures. Wooonta Trio is a band your ears simply cannot afford to miss!

Tainaner Ensemble presents 《Solo Date》
A meditation on loneliness, longing, desire and death viewed through the lens of new media, 'Solo Date' documents a lost soul's failed attempt to visit Hell and reconstruct his dead lover via artificial intelligence. In the process of reconstruction unspoken secrets from the past emerge and threaten to sour the reunion. Is this quest for love a surreal duet or a solitary monologue?

Water Reflection Dance Ensemble presents 《NuShu》
'NuShu' (women's writing) is a coded script once used exclusively by women in Hunan, China to record their private thoughts and feelings. Handed down from one generation to another in a dialect men couldn’t understand, the language captures the happy and sorrowful experiences of the Hunan women. This performance is a reflection of the beauty, energy and wisdom of those women.

Can one person bombarded by the pressures of modern life shake an entire society? The Sacrifice of Roaring

Fires burn, ashes rise and flesh falls into the mud. Something wild is marching through the land, accompanied by the endless screaming of spirits. Inspired by Taiwanese rituals related to mortality and resurrection, the young firebrand choreographer Hsu Chen Wei and company reveal the human need to release all the pain in their lives to the gods. The result is dance that is at once mysterious yet vivid, unexpectedly seductive and vital. A curtain silently closes as the wind howls across an abandoned shrine, and life carries on…
