DG Steven Tai and TECO officer Tony Tai attended the annual State Official Days of Remembrance Holocaust Observance on May 6. The United States Congress established the Days of Remembrance as the nation’s annual commemoration of the Holocaust and created the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum as a permanent living memorial to the victims. The 2016 Days of Remembrance theme is “Mothers and Fathers: Stories of Love and Loss.”
More than one hundred guests attended the ceremony. Guests included Consul Generals from Great Britain, Germany, Japan, Israel, and Switzerland; Georgia State senators and representatives; Sandy Springs mayor Rusty Paul; and many school teachers and students.
