To celebrate the new Global Federation of Chinese Business Women (GFCBW) Atlanta US Chapter establishment, the Grand Opening Gala was held on August 26 at Sonesta Gwinnett Place. Shu Ying Li, President of GFCBW, and Chapter leaders from North America and Taiwan came to support the new Atlanta Chapter.
The Official Seal was presented by President Shu Ying Li to Atlanta Chapter Founding President Jackie Chen. Director General Vincent Liu of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta witnessed the GFCBW Atlanta Chapter Inauguration.
During the Ceremony, President Shu Ying Li introduced leaders and representatives. She talked about the purpose of GFCBW, which is to cherish the world, grasp the pulse, set up communications, and develop trade so that GFCBW can flourish. Director General Vincent Liu also gave remarks to congratulate the new Atlanta Chapter.
More than 150 guests attended the Gala. Director General Vincent Liu and TECO officers were among the distinguished guests. Other guests included: Brad Raffensperger, Georgia House of Representatives; Brian Mock, Chamblee City Mayor Pro Tem; Lorri Christopher, Peachtree Corners Councilmember; and Phil Hoskins, Gwinnett County Administrator.
President Ying and other GFCBW officials also visited the TECO office on August 25.
