The Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of Greater Detroit (TCCGD) held its 20th Anniversary Celebration Dinner and Presidency Turnover Ceremony on Saturday November 14th at the Marriott Hotel in Livonia, Michigan. Director General Calvin Ho of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago was invited to attend the Celebration and be the witness for the Presidency Turnover. Executive Warren Evans, Assistant Executive June Lee and Commissioner Richard LeBlanc of Wayne County, Michigan attended this great function as well. Governor Rick Snyder and Congressman Dave Trott (R-MI) sent representatives, respectively, to deliver the congratulatory messages to the TCCGD.
In his remarks, Director General Ho praised the important role played by the TCCGD in past years for promoting the trade relations between Taiwan and Michigan, and expressed his appreciation to Mr. Paul Lee who served as the TCCGD's president from 2013 to 2015. Mr. Ho also looked forward to the TCCGD's continued support and cooperation, under new President Mary Wang's leadership.
At the ceremony, Commissioner Richard LeBlanc presented a Wayne County Resolution for praising Mr. Ho’s contribution to promote the relationship between the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the State of Michigan.

Commissioner Richard LeBlanc (left) of Wayne County presented a Wayne County Commission Resolution to Director General Ho (right) to praise his contribution
