Ink Painting Exhibition Runs July 6 to 30 at Tenri Cultural Institute-NY

The exhibition “Ink Imagists: Modern Ink Paintings from Taiwan, Japan, and the U.S.,” will open at Tenri Cultural Institute of New York (43 W. 13th Street) on Thursday, July 7, 2016 and run through the month.
The first ever trilateral joint exhibition between Taiwan, Japan, and the United States here in New York, this show offers a rare opportunity to view 30-plus paintings by some of the best modern ink artists, including Chiang Ming-Shyan, Huang Kuang-Nan and Lo Cheng-Hsien from Taiwan and Seiji Ishiii, Jiro Unno, and Satoshi Nemoto from Japan. In addition, before the show opens local audiences have a chance to meet some of the ink artists in person and see them perform ink painting live at Mid-Manhattan Library at6:30pm, Wednesday, July, 2016.
