TECO in Seattle witnessed the Education Cooperation MOU signing ceremony between Taiwan and Wyoming

Director General Daniel Chen attended the education cooperation MOU signing ceremony between Taiwan and Wyoming on November 16th. The objective of the MOU is to facilitate cultural exchanges to increase students’ awareness and enhance their language ability.
DG Chen delivered remarks and said that Taiwan ranks the 7th place for the number of international students in the States last year. Taiwan and the U.S. signed the education initiative in 2020 to enhance Taiwan’s critical role in providing Chinese instruction both to Americans and to people around the world. The MOU signing ceremony today is exactly a practice of the Taiwan-U.S. education Imitative at the State level.
The MOU was signed by Superintendent Brian Schroeder of the Wyoming Department of Education and Director-General Yen-Yi Lee of the Department of International and Cross-strait Education of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, and witnessed by DG Chen, Cultural Affairs Officer Luke Martin of the American Institute in Taiwan.
