Director General Lai attended the Flag Raising Ceremony and Mid-Autumn Festival celebration held in Salt Lake City International Peace Park on 23th September to celebrate R.O.C. (Taiwan) 112th National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, Utah House of Representative Walt Brooks and State Government Foreign Protocol Director Franz Kolb and other mainstream officials, the Great Salt Lake District Taiwan Benevolent Association members , and nearly 200 people attended the grand meeting.  During the ceremony, Director Franz Kolb read a message from Utah Governor Spencer J. Cox celebrating the Double Tenth National Day, expressing the state's long-standing friendship and cooperative relationship with Taiwan.
