On 27 September, Director General Lai welcomed the delegation of the Ministry of Economic Affairs to the United States and attended the Enterprise Talent Exchange Seminar, inviting local science and technology associations, Taiwan Chamber of Commerce and Taiwan Alumni Association to exchange views with Taiwanese industry players, and share business vision and brand image with enterprises, with more than 70 attendees.
On the 28th, the delegation held a campus talent recruitment activity at San Jose State University in Silicon Valley, this time a total of 21 talent companies provided 174 positions, the number of demand more than 350 people, including Delta Electric, AUO, Wistron Software, ITF, Inventec, Zerova, Phihong, ITRI and Mega Bank attracted more than 300 local job-seeking students, received more than 800 written resumes, and completed nearly 850 interviews on site.
On the 27th, the delegation also visited Stanford University and University of California, Berkeley and other university career centers to learn about the talent resources and activities of each university, and also publicized the Contact TAIWAN platform of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, urging the university to encourage students to log in as members, and discuss possible future cooperation.
