In order to better assist Taiwanese businessmen in Vietnam and to increase business opportunities, Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs has set up an extra investment help desk in the country’s most populated Ho Chi Minh City. A few days ago, it has been officially launched.
Project specialist Mr. Nguyen, who is familiar with Chinese and Vietnamese will provide Taiwan investors advisory and other related services. Furthermore, this new “Taiwan Desk” will help evaluate and analyze the latest business and investment regulations for Taiwanese investors who will or have been investing in Vietnam. This office will also promote bilateral cooperation for mutual benefit both in investment and trade.
Not only in Vietnam, should Taiwan investors require any investment services in other south-eastern countries such as Indonesia, India, Thailand, Myanmar and the Philippines, they can contact Taiwan business center or Taiwan overseas investment window, provided by the Ministry of Economic Affairs for assistance. The service team of “Taiwan Desk” task force will provide the necessary services and become the backing for Taiwan’s new southbound policy.
