90 Days Exempt Entry for Australian Passport Holders

To promote and enhance the exchange and people-to-people connectivity between the Republic of China and the Commonwealth of Australia, the government of the Republic of China agrees and decides to include Australia among the countries eligible for the 90 days visa exemption program.
Given the said, the Australian nationals are granted to enter Taiwan without visa and stay up to 90 days, only the following requirements are met: holding an Australian passport with validity of at least 6 months upon entry, with a confirmed returned air/sea ticket, a visa for the next destination, and with no criminal record. This visa exempt program will be extended to 31st December 2021. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review the said program at proper time.
