The Taiwan Fellowship Programme is established and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) to award foreign experts and scholars who are interested in researches in the fields related to Taiwan, Asia-Pacific region and Sinology to conduct advanced research at universities or academic institutions in Taiwan.
It is worth noting that research themes of 2022 Taiwan Fellowship Program encourages studies on topics relevant to Taiwan’s important policy agenda and major foreign engagements ─i.e. the era of COVID and the contemporary international political and economic developments, security issues in Asia and the Pacific, “New Southbound Policy”, global cybersecurity, defence strategy, anti-disinformation/anti-misinformation campaign and gender equality research, etc..

After completing online application, please mail the following application documents by July 14th , 2021 to Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Melbourne, Australia (Address: Level 46, 80 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 Australia):
- The copy of application form
- Resume(including a publication list)
- Research Proposal (three page research proposal in Mandarin or English using a standard research format)
- Two letters of recommendation or one letter of recommendation and one letter of agreement from the highest administrative director of your institute
The list of recipients will be released around November, 2021.
