2021 Taiwan Fellowship Program open for online application from May 1st to July 15th, 2020
The Taiwan Fellowship Program is established and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) to award foreign experts and scholars who are interested in the research fields of social sciences and humanities related to Taiwan, cross-strait relations, mainland China, the Asia-Pacific and Sinology to conduct advanced studies at universities or academic institutions in Taiwan.
Besides the above research fields, 2021 Taiwan Fellowship Program encourages studies on topics relevant to Taiwan’s important policy agenda and major foreign engagements ─ i.e. Taiwan’s participation in regional trade and economic integration, “New Southbound Policy”, security issues as well as investment and educational cooperation in Asia and the Pacific, international relations post COVID-19, anti-disinformation/anti-misinformation campaign and gender research.
Please note:

- After completing the online application, please mail all application documents by July 16, 2020, to Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Sydney (Address: Suite 1902 MLC Centre King Street Sydney NSW 2000) (Please let us know while sending out your application)
- The list of recipients will be released around October 2020.
- The above timeline may be adjusted when necessary in the light of the developments of COVID-19.
