Director General Fiona Fan attends the opening of Guy Warren’s exhibition

Director General Fiona Fan attended the opening of renowned Australian artist, Guy Warren’s exhibition “Of Man and Nature: The Diverse Journey of Guy Warren” at Gallery Lane Cove. Mr. Warren just celebrated his 100th birthday on April 16, this exhibition acknowledges Mr Warren’s 80 years of achievement in art. Lane Cove Mayor Pam Palmer, Councillor of Lane Cove Karola Brent, Sydney Morning Herald Art Critic John McDonald were all present to give their remarks. The Organizers introduced Director General Fan to all of the attending guests, and pointed out that Taipei Fine Arts Museum also has collected Mr Warren’s artworks. Director General Fan explained our office’s dedication in promoting Taiwan and Australia cultural exchange and our preparation of the upcoming ceramic exhibition this September, and extends invitation to everyone to participate in the event.
Guy Warren was officially recognised for his endeavours in promoting Art in 1999 with an OAM. An AM followed in 2014.
