Toronto’s Taiwanese community will celebrate Canada's 152nd birthday

To celebrate Canada's 152nd birthday, several celebration events will be held by Toronto’s Taiwanese community.
The Chinese Community Centre of Ontario (CCCO) will hold Canada Day celebration ceremony and invite two experts to give speeches on Canadian history and Canadian aboriginal people. The event will take place on July 1, 11 am at 2400 Midland Ave. Unit 108, Scarborough.
In addition, eight overseas Chinese associations in Toronto will join together to hold the "Maple Dragon Song & Dance Festival.” The show will be hosted by DJ Sunny, and will also include calligraphy demonstration and BBQ. A big birthday cake for Canada Day will be presented and shared with all the guests. The festival will take place on July 1, 11:30 am – 3 pm at 888 Progress Ave., Scarborough
