The "Gender Innovation Awards" competition was held in the spirit of the UN Sustainable Development No.5 (SDGs) namely: "Gender Equality", this competition was organized by the Ministry of Health, the Family Welfare Office and supported by women's rights protection organizations, which are also a social innovation competition based on first gender in the Asia Pacific.
In addition to encouraging the spirit of the United Nations Sustainable Development, it also discusses gender inequality and solutions to inequality. Taiwan, as a benchmark country for gender equality, hopes that through this competition it can foster individuals - individuals who can voice gender equality and raise public awareness about gender equality and human rights.
