Kaohsiung Century Choir to participate in the "Cork International Choral Festival 2017"

The “Century Choir” of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan will attend the "Cork International Choral Festival 2017" from April 26th to 30th this year.
The group will perform at a number of concerts during their stay in Cork City, including at 11am and 2:30pm on April 26th, 12:30 on April 27th in Cork City Hall, 2pm on April 28th at Ashton School, 11:30am on April 30th at the Church of the Incarnation Frankfield/Grange chapel. The choir is led by Mr. Li Renjie and Ms. Yang Hui Gong and its members have spent the past few months practising diligently for the festival. The Choir will perform several different types of songs; firstly, a modern European song; “Jaakobin Pojat”. Secondly, Taiwanese folk songs, and finally the modern religious songs; “Pok Pok Alimpako” and “For the beauty of the earth, I will serve the Lord all my days”.
“The Century Choir” was founded in 1992, and includes adult, youth and children's groups, with a total of 140 members. Every year the choir is invited to perform in international choral festivals in Europe and around the world. The choir have received much international praise and are sure to be a wonderful addition to the Choral Festival in Ireland.
