On August 10th 2018, Representative Yang from the Taipei Representative Office had a meeting with the artist Leland Lee and his mother Karen Jian, who attended the ECHA 2018 on 8th -11th August in Dublin. ECHA was founded in 1988 in Europe, and the 2018 Double Annual meeting was organized by the City University of Dublin (DCU) and the Centre for talented youth Ireland(CTYI).
Representative Yang described the Conference as a very positive event, as it invited dozens of the world’s top gifted education experts to share their research, counselling experiences and personal stories. It also provided a platform for individuals to introduce and share their talents, such as Leland Lee, who presented some of his works at the exhibition to show his artistic accomplishments.
Professor Guo from Taiwan Normal University, an expert in child psychology and education from Taiwan, also praised the Conference, and promoted the “International Talent Development and Excellence Research Association” which will be held in Taiwan on 12th -16th April next year 2019. The annual meeting will be a great encouragement for all the gifted youth in Taiwan.
