On the 25th of January 2019, the “Taiwan Pavilion” in the “Dublin Holiday World Show 2019”was officially opened by Representative Tzu-Pao Yang, the Taipei Representative Office in Ireland.
The “Taiwan Pavilion” was specifically designed in order to display the integration of Taiwan’s modern style and deep traditional roots, which included the traditional art of ‘dough pinching’ and puppets show. Those who attended the stand could also learn further information on Taiwan and gain an insight into traveling throughout Taiwan. Many souvenirs were also available for those who were interested and Airlines such as Eva Air and China Airlines also provided detailed information on how to fly to Taiwan.
The “Dublin Holiday World Show 2019” was held at the RDS Exhibition Hall in Dublin from January 25th-27th and Minister for Tourism Mr Shane Ross attended the opening ceremony. The Holiday World Show is a key event for travel agents, tourism operators and many embassies to display the unique attractions of countries all over the world and promote international travel. This year marked the 30th anniversary of the Show, and attracted over 50,000 attendees. In addition to the many stands in which guests could visit, there was also an “International Tourism Summit” held during the show to invite professionals in the tourism trade to enhance the prospect of international sight-seeing exchanges.
