Delegation of Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) visits Israel this week in order to enhance the ties with the local Hi-tech and technology industry. The Taiwanese delegation presented business opportunities for the Israeli technology to penetrate into the Asian market and also visited numerous Israeli companies such as Netafim and Viola. The Head of the delegation, MR. Walter Ya also encouraged Israeli companies to participate in the COMPUTEX exhibition that will take place in Taipei in June which is organized by TAITRA and will focus on Robotics, artificial intelligence, Clean-Tech, electric cars and more. During the delegation visit, a cooperation agreement was signed between Ya and The Israel Export Institute CEO – Gadi Arieli. This agreement was signed in order to increase the cooperation between the countries in the fields of commerce and economic development both in the private and public sectors. In addition. Ya announced that TAITRA is planning to open office in Tel-Aviv and to conduct “Israel Day” in Taipei in November in which Israeli startups will be introduced.
