2019 Taiwan Scholarship and Huayu Enrichment Scholarship

To promote knowledge, understanding and friendship between Taiwan and Israel and to encourage outstanding international students to undertake degree programs in Taiwan, we wish to inform you that the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) offers two kinds of scholarships for the next academic year:

Scholarship

Financial Arrangement

Taiwan Scholarship Program (Master Degree,2 Years)

(1) The MOE awards each recipient tuition of up to 40,000 NTD per semester (approx. 1,250 US$).If the total amount of tuition should exceed 40,000 NTD, the remainder of all costs shall be covered by the recipient or the recipient’s university. Tuition and academic fees do not include any of the following: administration fees, thesis-advising fees, insurance premiums, accommodation, Internet access, all of which are payable by the recipients.(2) The MOE offers each recipient undertaking graduate studies a monthly stipend of 20,000 NTD (approx. 625 US$).

*Applicants should apply directly for admission within the deadlines specified by universities/colleges.

* Scholarship recipient is responsible for tuition and all living expenses.

Huayu Enrichment Scholarship(1 Year)

(1) The MOE awards each recipient monthly stipend of 25,000 NTD - (approx. 780 US$).* Scholarship recipient is responsible for tuition and all living expenses.

Application Period: from February 1^st until March 11^th, 2019.

Application Documents:

One copy of completed application form (Please fill the correct form for your desired scholarship).
One photocopy of most recent school (university) grade transcript (all certificates must be in English).
One passport copy.
