My experience in Taiwan

Workshop on Application and Management of Medical Informatics

Taiwan, ICDF

October 27th – November 9th 2017

I would like to extend my heart felt gratitude to the entire team of Taiwan ICDF for giving me  the opportunity to represent my Country, INDIA at an International  congregation  to procure  and explore my  knowledge on Medical Informatics .

The Program schedule designed for fourteen days was effectively drafted and ethically executed through the team leaders which helped me to feel at home & get myself progressed mentally to contribute effectually and yield back lot of information from the workshop.

The development of Medical Informatics in Taiwan was very well elucidated by Dr. Min –Huei, Counselor, Ministry of Health and Welfare.

My visit to this Smart Health City, in response created a sense of happiness within me for the people and also amazed me to perceive the passion and intensity of Taiwanese to adapt well the modern technology and support the government to promote and preserve indigenous health in distant areas.

“Heath care in Smart city”, Field Trip to some of the major smart hospitals such as HIWIN – Motion Control and System Technology, aided me to stay familiar with Robotic Gait Training System, HIWIN Medical Equipment’s &Rehabilitation   that offers innovative technology with wide range of robotic products to provide a better way of life for mankind.

Kaohsiung Medical University Chung –Ho Memorial Hospital, Taipei Medical University, and Cathy General Hospital facilitated me to identify the New Generation trend of ICT in Medical Service through CLOUD SERVICE PLATFORM &BIG DATA which demonstrated to be an ingenuously innovative.

The novel conception that caught my curiosity was “The Health Care Resource Planning” and “Balance between Data value and Personal Privacy” drives new value of care in these smart hospitals.

Cultural trip to Taipei 101, National Palace Museum, National Museum of Natural Science and Eslite Book Store was awe-inspiring and informative.

The sight of bikes on the streets, the high speed rail, night markets and the chilled bubble tea was an icing on the cake …to create this ideal opportunity endlessly memorable.
