Director-General Charles Li of TECC in Chennai accompanied Associate Professor Yen Huang, Dean, Office of International Affairs, National Chin-Yi University of Technology, and Dr. Khire Rushikesh Ulhas, Assistant Professor, International College, Providence University from Taiwan to call on Professor Dr. M. K. Surappa, Vice-Chancellor of Anna University, and discuss prospects for bilateral academic and exchange programs.

Director-General Charles Li of TECC in Chennai, on August 9, accompanied Associate Professor Yen Huang, Dean, Office of International Affairs, National Chin-Yi University of Technology, and Dr. Khire Rushikesh Ulhas, Assistant Professor, International College, Providence University, from Taiwan to call on Professor Dr. M. K. Surappa, Vice-Chancellor of Anna University, and discuss prospects for bilateral academic and exchange programs. Also present were Professor Dr. L. Karunamoorthy, the Registrar, Professor N. Rajendran, Director of International Office, of Anna University, and Ms. Julianna Jin, Deputy Director of TECC in Chennai.

A copy of the MOA between Anna University and the National Chin-Yi University of Technology was presented to Professor Dr. M. K. Surappa and an invitation was also extended to him to lead a delegation to visit the National Chin-Yi University of Technology. Detailed arrangements were also discussed to facilitate the set-up of a Taiwan Education Center at Anna University ASAP. Meanwhile, Dr. Khire Rushikesh Ulhas extended an invitation to Professor Dr. M. K. Surappa to attend the 2019 ITVTI International Education Symposium to be held at Providence University in Taiwan in late October 2019. Ideas on exchange programs were shared and conclusions reached in the meeting. They all expressed their appreciation to Director-General Charles Li for his personal involvement in arranging the meetings and facilitating more collaborations among the universities in India and Taiwan.
