The national team entered the quarter-finals of the 8th AHF Asian Men’s Youth Championship

The 8th AHF Asian Men’s Youth Championship is taking in Amman, Jordan with 14 teams looking for the championship, an official competition of youth men's national handball teams of Asia every two years.
The preliminary round of the 2018 edition hold all games at the Princess Sumaya Hall and features four groups, with the top two in each going through to the main round and third place onwards going into the 9-14 placement round.
The preliminary groups are: Group A: BRN, KSA, CHN, OMA;Group B: JOR, TPE, SYR;Group C: KOR, IRQ, IND;Group D: JPN, QAT, UAE, IRI.
Taiwan youth handball representing team competed in the preliminaries to defeat the Syrian and Jordanian teams by 41 to 28 and 29 to 17, and entered the quarter-finals in the first place in Group B.
The national team is expected to play with the Iranian team at 5:30 in the evening on the 21st local time, and play with the Saudi Arabian team at 5 o'clock on the evening of the 22nd, in an effort to enter the semi-final.
