To enhance border clearance efficiency, all traditional paper-based Arrival Cards will go digital starting October 1, 2025. All incoming passengers will be required to complete the Taiwan Arrival Card (TWAC) online (https://twac.immigration.gov.tw) within 3 days prior to arrival. Travelers may fill out the form in either Chinese or English, with guidance available in seven languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian.
Caution:
National Immigration Agency (NIA) of Taiwan has received several reports of a fraudulent website impersonating the online website. The official website address is https://twac.immigration.gov.tw, please beware of fraudulent websites impersonating the TWAC.
WHO SHOULD SUBMIT?
Foreign nationalswithout "Alien Resident Certificate", "Resident Visa", or "Diplomatic ID card".
Nationals without household registrationwithout residence certificates of Taiwan Area.
People of the Mainland China Area holding Multiple Entry & Exit Permits for the purpose of travel.
People of Hong Kong and Macau holding Multiple Entry & Exit Permits.
