On 18 January 2020, Representative Francis Kuo-Hsin Liang presided over the Inauguration Ceremony of 17th Executive Committee of the Taipei Business Association in Singapore. Also at the ceremony were the association’s past presidents and its more than one hundred members, Deputy Representative and Mrs. Steven Tai, and other officials from the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore.
In his address, Representative Francis Liang commended Mr. Shih Chih Lung, Immediate Past President of Taipei Business Association in Singapore, for his dedicated service to the association and its members as well as his support of the various initiatives and programs of the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore. Representative Liang also congratulated Mr. James Yang on his appointment as the new President of the Taipei Business Association in Singapore, and hoped that under the leadership of Mr. Yang and his new team, the association will continue its good work for the community. Mr. Yang, who spoke after Representative Liang, outlined his vision for the association’s future, and presented a memento to his predecessor, Mr. Shih.
The evening also saw the association convening its first monthly meeting as well as the handover ceremony between the outgoing and incoming President of the association’s Junior Club. Additionally, a number of scholarship awards were presented to deserving students.
Earlier in the day, the Taipei Business Association had held its Annual General Meeting where it elected 25 new executive committee members and its new president.

The inauguration ceremony saw the attendance of the leaders of the Junior Club of the Taipei Business Association in Singapore.
