The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) hosted drilling ceremony for the Tuvalu Parliament House on September 20, 2023. Ambassador Andrew Lin mentioned though it’s just a small step, certainly a small step on the right direction will end up being one of the biggest achievement of Tuvalu’s democratic development. Acting Prime Minister Nielu Meisake thanked for Taiwan’s commitment for funding. Speaker Samuelu Teo also showed gratitude and is looking forward to having Tuvalu’s own Parliament Building. Special envoy Simon Kofe, Hon. Puakena Boreham and Hon. Namoliki Neemia also attended the ceremony.
