Representative Lyushun Shen attended the commemoration ceremony of the 70th Anniversary of V-J Day at the National WWII Memorial, co-hosted by the Friends of the WWII Memorial and the National Park Service on September 2, 2015.
A U.S. military honor guard carries our wreath in the wreath-laying ceremony. The wreath is decorated with the Republic of China’s national emblem, which was embedded in all the Chinese soldiers’ caps during the war.
