Members of the ROC Veterans Association and volunteers carried the large ROC and American flags in the parade. The MC announced that the Republic of China was one of the Allied Nations alongside the U.S. during WWII. The Flying Tigers were instrumental in building the long lasting friendship between the U.S. and the ROC (Taiwan).
