TECRO extends its appreciation to the West Virginia House of Delegates for the adoption of House Resolution No 25 supporting the signing of a Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA) between the United States and Taiwan
Following the passage of theSenate Resolution No.19on March 12, 2021, the West Virginia House of Delegates adopted the House Resolution No. 25 on April 9, 2021, supporting the signing of a bilateral trade agreement (BTA) between the United States and Taiwan, recognizing Taiwan as a beacon of democracy in East Asia, celebrating the 41st anniversary of its sisterhood partnership with Taiwan, recognizing the Taiwan model of effectively containing COVID-19 and supporting Taiwan’s meaningful participation in various international organizations including WHO, ICAO, UNFCCC and INTERPOL.
The support and friendship of the West Virginia Legislature are deeply appreciated by TECRO and the people of Taiwan. We look forward to further enhancing the already cordial and robust relationship for decades to come.
