Chinese Folk Art Workshop, Boston Holds Lunar New Year’s Celebration

The Chinese Folk Art Workshop, Boston (CFAW) held a Lunar New Year’s Celebration on the evening of February 9 at the New England Art Association Center. The party was decorated with a variety of Lunar New Year’s symbols such as spring festival couplets, lanterns, and fireworks which made for a festive evening. Around 200 guests attended the party, including senior members of CFAW, parents, interns, and teachers.
Director-General and Mrs. Douglas Hsu of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Boston (TECO-Boston), Director and Mrs. Hung-wei Ou of the Cultural Center of TECO-Boston, and staff and family members of TECO-Boston also attended. Director-General Hsu complimented CFAW’s outstanding performances in many important large-scale activities, he also express his New Year greetings to guests in attendance on behalf of ROC (Taiwan) government.
